November Class Series

Holiday Season Support Yin

Sundays, November 24 - December 29, 11am - 12:15pm in the Space (East Nashville)

The holiday season can be both joyful and challenging. Slower, contemplative practices can provide much needed refuge amidst the chaos of the season. Class will include Yin Yoga, meditation, and acupressure to support balance in the mind, body, and spirit. Yin Yoga is a meditative style of yoga in which yoga shapes are gently held for several minutes, often supported by props or the floor. Sequencing will address a variety of common seasonal needs and change weekly.

    Gentle Yoga & Sour Patch

Great place for beginners and experienced practitioners who love subtle practices! Pulled from Hatha Yoga as well as other styles and movement modalities. Gentle Yoga is slow movements, longer holds, and lots of options for rest alongside mindful challenges. Sour Patch Yoga has little of everything, with some challenge and a lot of sweet release. Expect mobility, breathwork, classic asana (yoga shapes), meditation, and some philosophy in both of these styles of class.

    Current Classes:

    Gentle Yoga, Tuesdays, November 5 - 26, 11am

Sour Patch Yoga, Sundays, November 10 - December 1, 9am

Restorative: The quiet, comforting, and still practice of Restorative Yoga is designed to soothe your nervous system.

Mobility: A combination of multiple mobility methods. We find ways to increase quality of movement to create more ease in the body and a greater understanding of how we can move efficiently.

Strength Basics: Not yoga! Resistance training is incredibly helpful for bone and muscle health as we age, especially for anyone who will experience menopause. Learn the fundamentals of strength training so you can lift heavy things with ease, safety, and confidence.

NEW VIRTUAL CLASS BUNDLE

NEW VIRTUAL CLASS BUNDLE ⋆

  • I have been taking yoga with Mary Beth for over 4 1/2 years. I appreciate how she creates classes that stretch, strengthen and keep my body mobile!! Even in the most challenging poses or series of movements her cues are easy to follow. She continually encourages us to listen to our own bodies to find the pose in our body. Her suggestions for meditation are thoughtful and I often take them with me off my mat. I feel invigorated, inspired and ready to keep moving after her classes!!

    Susan Morton, Yoga student

  • Yoga with Mary Beth is an essential part of my wellness routine. Her classes offer functional movements and mobility tips that help keep me from injury. I appreciate that her classes are doable, even with my limited flexibility.

    Brandy Trigiani, Yoga Student

  • I recently started adding Yin classes to my practice and find Mary Beth's wonderful instruction intermixed with some really beautiful mantras for contemplation to be such a wonderful combination of offerings.
